A raised cedar deck off the rear of a sloped Bedford lot, with a slatted privacy wall screening the neighbouring property and stairs down to grade. Framed on footings set below frost and fastened with corrosion rated hardware.
A full kitchen replacement in the existing footprint. New shaker cabinetry scribed to walls that were out of square, quartz counters templated after install, tiled backsplash, under-cabinet lighting and new flooring throughout.
Taken back to studs and subfloor, then rebuilt with new supply and drain lines, a bonded waterproof membrane behind the tile, a stone topped vanity, new fixtures and a correctly sized fan vented outside.
A tub and shower combination finished in large format tile with a recessed niche, a fixed glass panel in place of a curtain, and matte black rain head, hand shower and tub filler. Waterproofed behind the tile and set so the grout lines run true to the window and tub.
A large single level cedar deck laid out around the way the family uses the yard, with a dining zone, a barbecue area and generous circulation between them. Joist tape over the framing keeps water off the structure.
Built and fitted on site rather than delivered as boxes, so the shelving scribes to walls that lean and the reveals stay even. Mixed hanging heights, drawer bank and open shelving worked out around what the owners actually store.
Cabinetry in a warm grey with a contrasting island, quartz counters and a full run of upper cabinets to the ceiling to recover storage lost when the old bulkhead came out.
An unfinished basement brought up to living space. Moisture checked and addressed before framing, insulation and vapour control detailed for below grade walls, then drywall, flooring rated for concrete substrates, lighting and trim.
Cladding stripped back so the sheathing could be inspected, rot at the window corners repaired, barrier and flashing corrected, then new siding and trim installed along with a rebuilt deck and rail.
New interior doors hung and shimmed square in openings that had settled, with casing and baseboard run to match the profile already in the rest of the house.

Project descriptions stay focused on the building work: what the scope covered, what materials went in and which detail mattered most to how it performs. Client names and addresses are left out unless the owner has asked to be named.

Those in-progress shots tend to be more useful than finished ones, because the finished room looks much the same whether the wall behind it was built properly or not.
